Next week, we start a new  Word Wednesday round.  Before we do that, I wanted to recognize someone publicly, here on the blog.

Word Wednesday began on July 28, 2010 with a challenge to anyone who wanted to join me.  The goal?  Read the Bible, one book a week, and post your favorite verse or the one that spoke to you the most. Well, one of you deserves a gold star.  Or a round of applause.  Or a big fat smiley face.

So, Dawn Lucowitz…

My dear friend Dawn posted every single Word Wednesday.  I have to confess we know each other offline.  We met several years ago when both of our husbands were deployed, but it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that we really got to know each other well.  She’s a dear friend, and watching her grow in the Lord has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life.  Everyone should have her enthusiasm.  If we were all half as excited about knowing God as Dawn is, believe me, this world would be a better place!  So, way to go, Dawn!  I really am so proud of you!!!
